Transparent by design

Every result comes from a short, visible formula.

Peptisy performs deterministic arithmetic on the values you enter. It does not infer a protocol or decide what any input should be.

Reconstitution calculation

Concentration equals vial amount divided by liquid volume. Volume per dose equals entered dose divided by concentration. Syringe units equal dose volume multiplied by the selected syringe scale.

  • Concentration = vial amount ÷ liquid volume
  • Volume per dose = entered dose ÷ concentration
  • U-100 units = volume × 100
  • U-40 units = volume × 40

Half-life estimate

Remaining amount equals the entered amount multiplied by 0.5 raised to elapsed time divided by half-life. This is an exponential-decay estimate, not a personalized absorption or metabolism model.

  • Remaining = entered amount × 0.5^(elapsed time ÷ half-life)
  • The compound-specific preset is editable
  • Dose stacking and individual pharmacokinetics are not modeled

Input and rounding rules

Calculators reject missing, nonnumeric, or nonpositive values where appropriate. The calculation uses full precision and rounds only the displayed result. Units must stay consistent between vial amount and entered dose.

Clinical boundary

A mathematically valid result is not evidence that an input is medically appropriate. Peptisy never supplies a dose or reconstitution instruction. Confirm product information and clinical decisions with a qualified professional.
