How it works
Concentration = vial amount ÷ water added
Volume per dose = dose amount ÷ concentration
Units to draw = volume per dose × 100 for a U-100 syringe, or × 40 for a U-40 syringe
Worked example
A 10 mg vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg/ml. A 0.5 mg dose is 0.1 ml, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe. Switch the unit toggle to mcg or IU and the same math applies.

How do I switch between mg, mcg, and IU?
Use the unit toggle above the vial amount field. The calculator applies the selected unit consistently to the vial amount and dose amount.
How do I convert mcg to mg for a peptide dose?
Set the unit toggle to mcg and enter your vial amount and dose in mcg directly. The calculator handles the conversion internally, so you do not need to convert by hand.
What does "units to draw" mean on a peptide syringe?
It is the volume of your dose, in ml, converted to the marking on your syringe barrel for the U-100 or U-40 syringe type you selected.
Why is my vial in IU instead of mg?
Some peptides are labeled in international units rather than mg. Select IU on the unit toggle and enter the vial amount and dose as printed on your product.
What if my dose is larger than the vial contains?
The calculator shows a warning instead of a result, because that dose cannot be drawn from the vial as reconstituted.
